A SUPERBILL is a type of itemized receipt detailing the services rendered during your visit. It will include billing and diagnoses codes. These are important pieces of information for your insurance carrier to have. They can then use this receipt to reimburse you for services covered. There is no guarantee of reimbursement

It is important to know your coverage. Do you have out of network benefits? If you are unsure - give your insurance carrier a call.

How to submit: This can vary. Your superbill can be mailed, faxed or submitted via an online portal. You will have to decide which process is easiest for you.

After you submit: It can take 2-4 weeks to hear back. Depending on your plan you will be reimbursed in a few different ways; reimbursement of services minus your copay, reimbursement of the percentage of chiropractic coverage based on your plan type, or it will go toward your deductible. If you get notice that your coverage is denied you must call your insurance for an explanation. If it turns out there is something we can do to help with denial, we definitely will.
